April 12th - Show #343 - Moses Gregg(Bass), Haley Myrol(Guitar and vocals) and Brian Gregg(Guitar and vocals) - Haley - Haley Myrol, one half of the mother daughter duo Myrol, plays guitar, mandolin and is an accomplished singer and award-winning songwriter. As a part of Myrol she has performed all over Canada, the U.S.,
Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Myrol has just released their second Album 'Blue Moon Away' and while Haley is very focused on the project she has also started to dabble in side projects including a solo project. She has also recently been feature as a back up vocalist on The City Street's new album 'Peacemaker with Myrol', as well as Seth Anderson a.k.a. The Renegade Kid's new album 'Rocky Town Heartache'. Moses - Moses Gregg is one of Edmonton's favourite go-to bassist, playing in as many bands as seven at a time, including recording on multiple Juno award-winning musician Bill Bourne's newest album 'Free Radio Dance Band'; a documentary of this recording process was filmed called 'For the Record featuring Bill Bourne'. Moses has played on stages with the likes of Alex Cuba, The Skydiggers and Danny Michel. Other acts he performs in include: The Swifty's, Scott Cook, Allen
Christie, The Greggs, Myrol and Jesse D & Jacquie B. As if he isn't busy enough with those projects he also hosts a regular jam on Tuesday where he and CKUA's very own Grant Stovel back -up a guest musician and anyone else who comes out to showcase their talents. We thank the crew at Rusty Reeds tuesday jam for letting us have Moses for the this night . Brian - Breezy Brian Gregg - Very popular in all music circles in and around Edmonton Brian has been a major part of the music scene for over 4 decades. Opening act for Led Zepplin in Edmonton in the very early 70's Brian also plays as a solo artist,in duet's and has recently formed the band The Greggs with his sons Henry and Moses. Brian deserves bragging rights as the worlds first electric busker and can be found playing electric on the street and also hosts his own acoustic open stage. Brian's great reputation spans in music circles catering to all styles from folk to rock and blues. Nice to have father and son in for this one joining Haley.
